We're ready!

The Tempranillo bunches 3 days before harvest in 2015. By this stage we have been through them several times removing any that are obviously not ripe enough and any that have unfortunately developed a bit of rot. The bunches are clearly visible only because we removed leaves earlier in the season to allow air flow and sunlight on the bunches both to improve ripening and to reduce disease pressure. The Tempranillo leaves often grow up to 30 cm wide so the removal of just a couple of leaves opens it up nicely.
