Ready Set Go!
The key wine making equipment on picking day sitting quietly awaiting the onslaught of pickers and grapes. The green machine on top of the red tub is the crusher. Grapes are fed into the crusher which crushes the grapes to release juice and at the same time separates them from the stalks. The red & wooden basket is the press. Once the free-run juice has been drained out of the red tub the berry pulp is transferred (by bucket) to the press and the remaining juice squeezed off.
